چکیده

At hatch, 360 one-d old Cobb500 male broilers were placed in battery cages to determine the effect of soybean meal (SBM) from different Midwest varieties on growth performance broilers. There 6 per cage and 15 replicates treatment. Dietary treatments cons0isted 1 4 sources varying quality determined by crude protein (CP) content processed into SBM. Two consisted soybeans a similar region either commercially solvent extracted or experimentally at Texas A&M University. Additional included low high soybean, SBM Therefore, dietary with 47% CP (CSBM), 42% (42SBM), 49% (49SBM), 52% (52SBM). Diets formulated 1.05% digestible Lys balanced using AA values previously determined. Added fat provided vegetable oil was kept constant formulation across treatments. Data analyzed GLIMMIX procedure SAS 9.4, as experimental unit, location blocking factor Tukey-Kramer adjustment for multiple comparisons used. From d 0 18, body weight gain (BWG) 18 BW increased (P < 0.001) fed CSBM, compared 42SBM, 49SBM, 52SBM. Broilers CSBM had ADFI, 42SBM 52SBM, 49SBM intermediate. no evidence feed conversion ratio (FCR) differences difference among meal; however, there increases diet cost $28.81 5.41 ton respectively, Feed bird decreased birds 52SBM ($0.244) ($0.271) ($0.266) ($0.256) intermediate, 42SBM. lower inclusion could be used maintain potential savings.

The effect of diets containing soybean meal, soybean protein concentrate, and soybean protein isolate of different oligosaccharide content on growth performance and gut function of young turkeys.

An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of diets containing soybean meal (SBM), soybean protein concentrate (SPC), and soybean protein isolate (SPI) on growth performance and gut function of the young turkey. A total of 812 one-day-old male turkey poults were randomly assigned to 4 dietary treatments, with 7 pens per treatment and 29 birds per pen. The 4 experimental diets contai...

Effect of the Replacement of Soybean Meal by Rubber Seed Meal on Growth, Economics and Carcass Characteristics of Broiler

The experiment was to study the effects of replacing soybean meal by rubber seed meal on growth, economics and carcass characteristics of broiler. A total of 150 day-old commercial broiler (Cobb-500) was reared for a period of 35 days. There were five treatments including T0 (without rubber seed meal), T1 (10% rubber seed meal), T2 (20% rubber seed meal), and T3 (30% rubber seed meal) and T4 (4...

The effect of enzyme treatment of soybean meal on oligosaccharide disappearance and chick growth performance.

Research was conducted to determine the effects of enzymatically hydrolyzing raffinose and stachyose from soybean meal (SBM) on fecal oligosaccharide concentration and growth performance of chicks fed a corn-SBM diet. The alpha-galactosidase treatment was optimized for oligosaccharide degradation. Enzyme treatment degraded raffinose and stachyose in SBM by 69 and 54%, respectively, compared to ...
